Enfield Industries Project
Maroon Community Media has had the great pleasure of working with Enfield Poet Anthony Fisher. Anthony describes himself as 'unusual combination of industrial chemist and poet. Lives with his wife who is also a poet, in North London.'
Anthony who is passionate about the heritage of industry in Brimsdown and the Lea Valley, interviewed and recorded thirteen people who had worked in the area with their stories and anecdotes. It captures the period post second world war to when many of the factories were closed in the last century.
